Job Summary

Are you skilled in manufacturing engineering personnel with a passion for precision and innovation? At Ingersoll Rand, we are seeking a talented and dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria
• Ensure proper routing for the process and maintain the routing master without discrepancy.
• Ensure availability of jigs and fixtures for necessary process
• Study production and machine requirements
• Develop and test effective automated and manual systems
• Design and install Assembly and test Equipments
• Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources
• Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and network performance in line with Lean concepts.
• Responsible for providing the operational standard to all the process planned in-house
• Train staff in new and existing processes
• Collaborate with other engineers, contractors and suppliers
• Ensure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, Machining, Assembly and testing fabrication methods and tool design
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques
• Experience with CAD software like Inventor and SolidWorks, ERP systems, and industrial automation.
• Rubber molding and die design added advantage

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

• Fully site based

Key Competencies:

• Deep understanding of machining, assembly, automation, and production systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and statistical process control.
• Identifying and resolving production bottlenecks or defects.
• Improving efficiency, reducing waste, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Applying Kaizen and lean principles to drive innovation Working with cross-functional teams (design, supply chain, quality assurance)
• Designing new manufacturing methods or improving existing ones.
