Manufacturing Engineer

Role Overview: As a Plant MFG Engineering at Plot No.A-1/1 SIPCOT Industrial Park, Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, 602105, IN, your main responsibilities will involve installing and qualifying new process equipment, troubleshooting day-to-day manufacturing issues, and identifying system improvements to enhance throughput, yield, and product performance. You are expected to have experience in thin-film deposition processes or thermal processing in the semiconductor/glass industry. Additionally, knowledge of PLC and Controls, Vision systems, Statistical Data Analysis, Metrology, Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Control, and manufacturing processes is required. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, improve, and document solar module manufacturing processes - Work with the development team and conduct experiments to establish manufacturing process windows - Solve production, equipment, and process problems - Evaluate and qualify new equipment - Collect and analyze data - Maintain effective communication with internal associates and suppliers - Provide training to engineers and production associates - Engage in continuous improvement activities - Develop Process Control Plans and Preventive Maintenance Plans - Adhere to safety procedures and housekeeping standards Qualifications Required: - Engineering degree in a technical discipline - At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment - Knowledge of General Electronics, General Mechanical Systems, and Robust Engineering principles - Excellent problem-solving abilities - Proficiency in writing manufacturing documentation - Ability to apply structured problem-solving methods - Capability to train operators, technicians, and new engineers - Strong communication skills, both oral and written (Note: Additional Details section omitted as it did not contain relevant information for the job description),
