Job Description

As an Engineering professional in this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing the procedures involved in manufacturing processes. You will evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, such as efficiency and speed. Additionally, you will have the ability to conduct line-lay out study, time study, motion study, and learn manufacturing processes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Actively participating in SQ and new design or change process - Involving in new tooling set up and process set up in terms of operation methodology - Studying production and machine requirements - Developing and testing effective automated and manual systems - Designing and installing equipment - Organizing and managing manufacturing workflows and resources - Integrating disparate systems such as equipment handling and transport - Optimizing facility layouts, production lines, machine operations, and network performance - Resolving issues and delays in production - Finding ways to reduce costs and maximize quality - Collaborating with other engineers, contractors, and suppliers - Ensuring that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations - Coordinating smoothly between CSD, Engineering, SCM, production, and other cross-functional team members - Upgrading systems and processes with new technology - Designing and implementing new production methods - Troubleshooting production issues and identifying improvement areas - Monitoring production metrics like cycle time, scrap rate, and efficiency - Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth production flow - Developing detailed process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) - Conducting process capability analysis and identifying areas for improvement - Validating new process changes and ensuring quality compliance - Training operators on new processes and procedures - Actively participating in continuous improvement (CI) and Manufacturing Engineering - Initiating CI projects based on field failure - Publishing monthly CI project completion charter - Keeping track record for CI projects Qualifications required for this role include: - Degree in Engineering; post-graduate degree is a plus - 7-8 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer or in a similar role - Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and tool design - Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques - Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations - Well-versed in relevant software such as CAD and MS Office - Ability to occasionally work late shifts - Strong analytical skills to understand data and draw conclusions - Problem-solving skills when dealing with complex systems and processes - Initiative-taking and ability to take charge without being told - Leadership qualities, good communication skills, and openness to feedback - Strong written communication skills - Awareness of ISO 9001:2015, EMS 14001:2015, and OHSMS 45001:2018,
