Job Description

Role & responsibilities Provide technical support on the shop floor for CNC milling and turning operations, ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards. Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize cutting parameters for complex aerospace engine components. Collaborate with design and process engineering teams to interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications. Support CNC program validation and first-article inspection (FAI) processes. Assist in tooling selection, fixture design, and setup optimization for high-precision aerospace parts. Support Production by clearing Non-Conformance parts. Train operators on best practices, safety protocols, and quality control procedures. Maintain documentation for process improvements, deviations, and corrective actions. Required Qualifications: Strong understanding of aerospace materials (e.g., titanium, Inconel, aluminum alloys). Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T. Familiarity with CNC programming (Fanuc, Siemens, or similar controls) is a plus. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of AS9100 or similar aerospace quality systems. Experience with CAM software (e.g., NX, Mastercam, CATIA). Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment.
