Description
Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Tester with 2-4 years of experience in testing web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a good understanding of QA methodologies, and hands-on experience in executing test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring product quality across various browsers and devices. Key Responsibilities Understand and analyze functional and technical requirements of web applications. Good hands on experience API testing. Design, write, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios. Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing on web-based applications. Report, track, and document bugs using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to understand features and identify edge cases. Perform cross-browser and responsive testing for various web browsers and screen resolutions. Assist in preparing QA documentation such as test plans, test reports, and test data. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Required Skills 23 years of experience in manual testing of web applications. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC). Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test scenarios. Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira, Mantis, Bugzilla, etc. Good knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic level for testing). Familiar with browser developer tools for inspecting UI/UX issues. Understanding of database concepts and basic SQL for data validation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
