We are looking for a detail-oriented, technically grounded experienced Manual QA Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in testing websites, web application and mobile application. You will be responsible for end-to-end quality assurance, ensuring that all functionalities meet the expected standards. You should approach QA with a product-first mindset deeply understanding the application, anticipating technical issues, and evaluating the experience from both user and system perspectives. You will work closely with content, design, and development teams to ensure our digital products perform seamlessly across different platforms. You will be responsible for testing the following key areas: Functionality Testing: Ensure all website features work as intended across all modules and user flows, with detailed validation of expected vs actual behaviour. UI/UX Testing: Conduct extensive, pixel-perfect UI testing to ensure design accuracy across all responsive breakpoints (mobile, tablet, desktop). Cross-Browser Compatibility: Validate site behaviour and appearance across major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and different operating systems. Performance Testing: Monitor and report on website load times, responsiveness, and performance using agreed tools and metrics. Backend Validation: Test data flow, API integrations, and backend processes to ensure seamless functionality across the stack. SEO Compatibility Testing: Perform basic SEO checks such as proper meta tags, title tags, header structures, alt texts, and indexability for search engines like Google and Bing. Link and Navigation Testing: Ensure all internal/external links are functional, navigation flows correctly, and no broken links exist. Critical Path Testing: Verify key user journeys (e.g., signup, form submission, search, checkout) function correctly – manually or via automation, as needed. Content Accuracy: Confirm that all images, text, and assets are rendered properly and are up to date across all pages. Responsibilities Complete functionality, user-experience, and system-level testing of the web application Testing across all major browsers, devices, and screen sizes Report issues with clear reproduction steps and relevant technical context Regression testing for all fixed issues Proactively collaborate with the development team to identify root causes, edge cases, and recurring issues Organise and label issues according to component, project, and priority Participate in technical discussions and provide QA inputs during planning and review sessions Requirements Strong technical grounding and understanding of web technologies Experience or background in software development (e.g., frontend/backend development) Ability to anticipate technical pitfalls, identify integration issues, and validate API/DOM-level behaviour Ability to work on multiple projects and websites simultaneously while maintaining quality standards Effective communication with developers, designers, and content teams Proficiency in manual testing of web applications Hands-on experience with bug reporting tools such as Jira, Trello, Linear, etc. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, browser DevTools, and APIs Taking ownership of quality and actively contributes to improving QA processes and documentation Thinking like an end user and consistently advocates for better product experience Proactively suggesting improvements in both functionality and user interface Foundational understanding of test automation concepts and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar) Willingness to lead or support future implementation of test automation frameworks Desired Candidate profile As the old-world collapses and new digital world is being built around us, we are offering selected candidates an opportunity to make a mark in the ever-changing world of internet communications.
