Overview

We are looking for a

Junior Software Test Engineer

to join our QA team. This role is ideal for

fresh graduates

who are keen to build a career in software testing and quality assurance. The candidate will work closely with developers, senior testers, and product teams to ensure our applications are reliable, user-friendly, and meet quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

Understand product requirements, user flows, and functional specifications.
Execute
manual test cases
for web and/or mobile applications.
Identify, log, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools.
Perform
smoke, sanity, functional, and regression testing
.
Re-test defects after fixes and validate outcomes.
Assist in preparing test cases, test scenarios, and basic test reports.
Collaborate with developers to clearly explain issues and reproduction steps.
Follow QA processes, documentation standards, and timelines.
Support senior QA engineers in test execution and release validation.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in
Computer Science, IT, Engineering
, or related field.
Basic understanding of
software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC
.
Knowledge of manual testing techniques and test case writing.
Familiarity with web applications and browsers.
Basic understanding of databases and SQL is a plus.
Awareness of bug life cycle and defect tracking tools (JIRA/Bugzilla - preferred).
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
Good verbal and written communication skills
