Manual QA Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing manual test cases for Android and iOS mobile applications. Your role will involve creating and maintaining a detailed UI checklist, performing UI verification, and conducting various types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing manually. Additionally, you will be required to perform accessibility testing using assistive tools, validate compliance with WCAG and ADA guidelines, and execute performance testing using Apache JMeter. Collaboration with team members and contribution to process improvements will also be a part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, design, and execute manual test cases for Android and iOS mobile applications. - Create and maintain a detailed UI checklist to ensure design consistency, responsiveness, and alignment with design specifications. - Perform UI verification and visual inspection across different screen sizes, OS versions, and devices. - Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) manually. - Perform accessibility testing using assistive tools and validate compliance with WCAG and ADA guidelines. - Execute performance testing using Apache JMeter to evaluate app response times, stability, and load behavior. - Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and MANTIS bug tracking tools. - Collaborate with developers, designers, and Business Analysts for requirement understanding and issue verification. - Create and maintain test cases, test reports, and other testing documentation. - Contribute to process improvements in UI, accessibility, and performance testing practices. Qualification Required: - 3-5 years of experience in manual testing of mobile applications (Android & iOS). - Strong understanding of UI/UX validation and design consistency testing. - Proven experience with mobile accessibility testing and assistive technologies. - Familiarity with WCAG, and mobile accessibility best practices. - Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance and load testing. - Proficient in using JIRA and MANTIS for defect tracking and reporting. - Skilled in test case writing, execution, and test documentation. - Experience with real device testing, simulator/emulator, and OS compatibility verification. Additional Details: Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks used for mobile applications, exposure to API testing using tools like Postman, and experience in Database Testing would be considered as preferred qualifications.,
