Job Summary:

To ensure the efficient operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of MES systems, PLC/SCADA automation, and process integration across all production linesfrom RMS to FGS. The role involves system configuration, softwarehardware coordination, and MES-level data management.

Key Responsibilities

• System & Process Expertise
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of plant process control systems (RMSFGS) and process interlocks.
• Responsible for IIOT Servers in all aspects related to development and modification integrating PLC/SCADA MES logic as per process requirements.
• Configure communication between PLCs and MES; ensure seamless automationMES integration.
• System Configuration & Backup
• Responsible for maintaining MES, PLC, and SCADA system backups.
• Configure and maintain Rockwell, Siemens, Kepware, and NATR systems.
• Manage SQL databases for MES data and reports.
• Maintain full documentation of all deployed modules and configurations.
• Barcode & Peripheral Integration
• Support and maintain barcode scanners and related devices.
• Ensure accurate data exchange between MES, SAP, and SQL systems.
• Coordinate with IT/software teams to ensure system reliability and accuracy.
• Software & Development Support
• Work with Node.js and Python scripts for MES data processing and dashboard automation.
• Capable of handling the Development solution providers working in different soft platforms inline to machine PLC/Database
• Lead MES dashboard deployment, upgrades, and in-house digitalization projects.
• Maintenance & Reliability
• Maintain spares inventory for IPCs, NATR, printers, and barcode devices.
• Reduce MTTR through preventive measures and shift-level guidance.
• Conduct root cause analysis (Why-Why) for MES-related breakdowns.
• Documentation & Audit Readiness
• Maintain asset lists, ISMS audit documents, change notes, and configuration backups.
• Ensure traceability and readiness for internal/external audits.
• Reporting & Analysis
• Generate monthly performance reports and MES analytics.
• Provide management insights through MES and SQL-based data analysis.
• Project & Cost Optimization
• Drive cost reduction and process optimization initiatives.
• Plan and execute MES-related shutdown and upgrade activities.
• Evaluate new technologies for continuous improvement.
• Collaboration & Meetings
• Participate in daily CFT (DWM) meetings to review MES performance.
• Maintain real-time dashboards and process visibility across areas.
• General
• Uphold 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Contribute to digital transformation and continuous improvement efforts.
• Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong hands-on experience with PLC/SCADA (Rockwell, Siemens) systems.
• Proficiency in MES configuration, integration, and data management.
• Experience with Kepware, SQL, Node.js, Python, and dashboard tools.
• Familiar with SAP–MES integration, barcode systems, and OPC/Modbus/Ethernet/IP.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation abilities.
• Knowledge of ISMS, 5S, and CI (Continuous Improvement) practices.
