Job Purpose:

To manage and execute all electrical and instrumentation engineering tasks related to the installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of pharmaceutical plant utilities, process equipment, and automation systems at the overseas facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  
• Maintain and troubleshoot plant instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment to ensure smooth plant operations.
  
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for equipment and systems.
  
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely execution of electrical and instrumentation jobs.
  
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, cGMP, and regulatory standards in all activities.
  
• Handle automation systems such as PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
  
• Maintain records and calibration data of instruments in line with pharmaceutical documentation practices.
  
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  
• Support audits and inspections by regulatory bodies (e.g., USFDA, MHRA, EU).
  
• Work collaboratively with process, quality, and mechanical teams to ensure project efficiency.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  
• Hands-on knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems
  
• Familiarity with GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and other pharma industry standards.
  
• Proficient in interpreting P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Willingness to relocate overseas and adapt to a multicultural work environment
