Designation - Manager/Senior Manager Costing

Job Location - Fort, Mumbai

Job Responsibilities :-

• Accountable for Costing for the Oriental group of companies (Oriental Aromatics Ltd. & Oriental Aromatics & Sons ltd.)
• Planning and Executing Costing for Chemical manufacturing for a multi-product plant in SAP.
• Independently leading the Costing of a mid-scale manufacturing organization (worth min 500 crore).
• Prepare and monitor product costing for raw materials, intermediates and finished goods.
• Conduct variance analysis (standard vs. actual cost) and strategize corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to track cost drivers and optimize costs, recommending the same to the management.
• Monitor and control overheads, inventory valuation, and cost centre accounting.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities with respect to cost accounting.
• Prepare reports for management decision-making, including cost control and margin analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls related to costing.
• Support audits (statutory, internal, and cost audits) with relevant costing data and explanations.
• Develop and enhance costing methodologies, tools, and models aligned with business growth.
• Maintaining and presenting flawless reports on the Costing for all the products / businesses across the organization.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Educational Qualification: CMA / CA Inter / MBA Finance
• Experience: Minimum 8 years in cost accounting roles, with at least 4 years in an MPP environment
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA (product costing, material ledger, cost center accounting)
• Proven experience in a Chemical Manufacturing company with 500 Cr+ turnover
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Production, SCM, Finance)
