Manager/AM - Quality

As a Manager/AM - Quality at ZF, you will play a crucial role in producing components for automobiles, contributing to cost reduction, issue identification, supply chain maintenance, product quality improvement, and sustainability efforts. Your responsibilities will include independently assessing project quality status, ensuring transparency, leading the Quality project team for a Safe Launch, applying Quality Assurance in project routines, and enforcing compliance with GDPEP and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) standards. You will be expected to provide functional excellence in problem resolution and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for non-conformities and critical issues impacting customers or project risks. Additionally, you will drive systematic problem-solving approaches, ensure customer requirements are met, and facilitate quality communication with customers. Your role will involve tracking the application of quality methodologies in projects, driving closure on issues, and implementing Lessons Learned for continuous improvement. To excel in this role, you should bring 8-12 years of quality experience, proficiency in 5 quality core tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP), and hands-on experience in shop floor and process quality. Experience in plant quality, project quality, customer quality, and product quality will be beneficial. Strong customer focus, problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, and communication skills are essential. You should also possess advanced product and production knowledge, along with conflict management skills to engage positively with key stakeholders.
