Manager Workday Functional Analyst 1

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Manager Workday Functional Analyst to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience with functional configuration in Workday Finance suite of modules, supporting a mid to large-sized business. Roles and Responsibility Collaborate with key stakeholders to define, prioritize, and execute solutions in Workday. Provide system administration support and manage system configuration, enhancement, and deployment efforts. Serve as a liaison for operational teams, third-party vendors, and IT Technology. Translate business processes into creative technical solutions. Configure Workday Finance modules and provide subject matter functional expertise for project and day-to-day support and development needs. Manage user roles and permissions for Workday users. Test new Workday features and functionality, including regression testing, user acceptance testing, and sign-off for new enhancements and project work. Maintain awareness of Workday future releases/roadmap and their impact on current and future Workday functionality; ensure daily systems support is balanced with strategic enhancements and projects. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Finance, Business, MIS, or a related field preferred. Proven Workday Financial Management functional expertise, demonstrating an awareness of what Workday can and cannot do. Experience creating and maintaining reports, security permissions, and administrative tasks in Workday. Ability to navigate challenges independently with strong prioritization skills and good judgment. Strong sense of personal accountability for high-quality, value-driven work that supports business outcomes. Experience in a requirement gathering role such as Business Analyst or Systems Analyst is preferred. Workday Financials certifications are preferred. Experience in financial applications and process is preferred.
