Title: Manager / Senior Manager New Product Development & Project Management

Location: Hyderabad

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead development of pharma packaging partscaps, closures, components, and bottlesacross injection and blow moulding technologies.
• Assess design feasibility and suggest improvements to enhance product performance and manufacturability.
• Drive DFM/DFS/DFA reviews and oversee prototypes, pilot tools, and validation activities.
• Ensure new products comply with pharma quality and regulatory standards.
• Manage concept design, tool layouts, and complete mould development with internal and external tooling partners.
• Review 2D/3D designs, mould flow studies, gating and cooling layouts.
• Validate mould performance through structured trials and optimization.
• Troubleshoot issues such as shrinkage, flashing, and dimensional deviations.
• Oversee the full project lifecyclefrom concept to customer approval and commercialization.
• Track project timelines, risks, and dashboards while ensuring smooth cross-functional coordination.
• Maintain clear communication with NPD, Sales, Tooling, QA, SCM, and Production teams.
• Present technical updates, feasibility reports, and trial outcomes to customers.
• Participate in capability discussions and customer audits.
• Support Sales in turning technical discussions into business opportunities.

Who Thrives in This Role

• B.Tech in Mechanical, Tooling, Industrial Engineering, or similar discipline.
• 8+years in mould design, tooling, NPD, and project management.
• Experience in pharma packaging or rigid plastics manufacturing preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of injection and blow moulding processes.
• Expertise in injection & blow moulding technologies.
• Strong understanding of multi-cavity precision moulds and hot runner systems.
• Skilled in CAD tools like SolidWorks/AutoCAD.
• Exposure to mould-flow analysis tools is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of polymer behaviour, shrinkage, tolerances, and pharma requirements.
