Role & responsibilities

key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Preparation and drafting of monthly, quarterly, and annual

  financial statements

  in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of

  books of accounts

  including journal entries, provisions, accruals, and closing activities.
• Support finalization of accounts and coordination with statutory and internal auditors.

Reconciliations

Perform periodic reconciliation of accounts, including:

• TDS reconciliation with Form 26Q / 24Q and Form 26AS
• GST reconciliation between books, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-2B
• Accounts Receivable (AR) reconciliation and customer balance confirmations
• Accounts Payable (AP) reconciliation and vendor balance confirmations
• Identify variances, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure timely deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns and related compliance.
• Oversee GST compliance, including return filings, reconciliations, and responses to notices.
• Assist in handling assessments, audits, and queries from tax authorities.

Budgeting, MIS & Analysis

• Prepare and analyze MIS reports, variance analysis, and financial dashboards for management review.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Strategic & Business Support

• Demonstrate a strategic mindset by analyzing financial data to support business planning and profitability improvement.
• Support management in evaluating financial risks, working capital management, and cash flow optimization.
• Participate in process improvements, internal controls, and automation initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications CA Inter/MBA --Finance

Experience Minimum: 10-15 years

The candidate must have good communication skills and good knowledge of SAP and Tally.
