Manager - Sourcing

As an Assistant Manager/Manager Sourcing (Production) at our Vikhroli, Mumbai office, your role will involve end-to-end production-facing sourcing from manufacturers, ensuring efficient demand and capacity planning across multiple factories. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing manufacturing demand (STRs) across all factories to determine requirements. - Identifying unmet demand and capacity constraints and developing reallocation strategies for a balanced Manufacturing Plan. - Finalizing the Manufacturing Plan in alignment with business goals and communicating it effectively to key stakeholders. - Reviewing and monitoring daily production plans from each factory to ensure alignment with operational cycles and supply chain objectives. - Consolidating and analyzing daily manufacturing reports, tracking plan vs. actual metrics, and providing detailed updates to the Category Manufacturing Manager. - Ensuring production processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements, collaborating with Quality Assurance teams for issue resolution and maintaining product integrity. - Identifying and analyzing data on production bottlenecks and inefficiencies for continuous improvement. - Assessing STR requirements against plant capacity, optimizing source allocations, and transportation lanes to address capacity constraints. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field. - 6-10 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, or related supply chain functions. Key Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Experience in manufacturing planning, logistics, and multi-factory operations is a plus.
