Job Title: Manager – Site Administration & HR

Location:

Role Overview

The Manager – Site Administration & HR will oversee all administrative and human resource functions at the project/site level. This includes managing site facilities, ensuring compliance with labor laws, handling employee relations, and supporting smooth project execution. The role requires strong organizational skills, people management capabilities, and familiarity with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Site Administration:

  • Manage day-to-day site operations including office facilities, canteen, security, housekeeping, and vendor coordination.
  • Ensure timely availability of resources (materials, equipment, manpower) for project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of site expenses, inventory, and logistics.
  • Coordinate with head office for procurement, billing, and reporting.

Human Resources:

  • Handle recruitment and onboarding of site-level staff and labor.
  • Maintain attendance, payroll, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, labor laws).
  • Address employee grievances and ensure a positive work environment.
  • Conduct training and awareness programs for safety and compliance.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and government regulations.
  • Maintain statutory registers and documentation for audits and inspections.
  • Liaise with local authorities for permits, licenses, and compliance matters.

Health, Safety & Welfare:

  • Implement safety protocols and monitor site health and safety standards.
  • Ensure proper accommodation and welfare facilities for site workers.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:

    Graduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience:

    8+ years in site administration and HR, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects for roads, highway and bridge.
  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
    • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage large teams and handle pressure situations.
  • Other:

    Willingness to stay at project sites and travel as required.

  • Timely completion of administrative tasks and compliance.
  • Employee satisfaction and retention at site level.
  • Effective cost control and resource management.
