Job Description

As a manager at TE Connectivity, you will be responsible for leading a team of Signal Integrity (SI) engineers in the design and development of high-speed products targeting communications and connectivity within datacenters and wireless infrastructure. Your role will involve guiding the team in establishing design performance requirements, conducting simulations, making data-driven decisions, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage and lead a team of regional/global signal integrity engineers to define design performance requirements for new products. - Conduct signal integrity simulations for multiple high-speed standards, ensuring correct methodology and setup. - Guide the team in connector design and qualifications from a signal integrity perspective. - Provide actionable recommendations based on design reviews and simulation results. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders including management, customers, and the technical community. - Align technology roadmap with market trends and customer needs. - Foster a culture of innovation and high performance within the team. - Coach and provide feedback to team members, hold them accountable, and support their development. - Manage employee wellbeing by prioritizing workloads and providing flexibility for work-life balance. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; Master's Degree preferred. - Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in electrical design, RF design, or PCB design. - Minimum 3 years of leadership and people management experience in a regional environment. - Solid understanding of electromagnetic theory and electrical circuit behavior. - Expertise in Signal integrity analysis tools (Agilent ADS, Ansys HFSS, CST, or equivalent). - Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (SpaceClaim preferred, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent). - Knowledge of high-speed test equipment (VNA, TDR, BERT). - Experience in interconnect design, electronic packaging, and PCB layout. - Ability to analyze simulation and lab data to identify and solve problems. - Exposure to physical layer communications systems and architectures. - Fluent in English (both verbal and written). - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a global environment. - Proficiency in presenting technical solutions to customers and upper management. - Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team of experienced professionals. - Skills in budget management, project delivery, and resource allocation. - Ability to drive data analytics mindset and continuous improvement in engineering practices.
