Job Description

As a manager in TE Connectivity, you will be leading a team of Signal Integrity engineers in the design of high-speed products for the connector, cable assembly, and radio system industry. Your role will involve establishing signal integrity design performance requirements, performing simulations, guiding connector design from a signal integrity standpoint, and driving innovation within the team. You will also be responsible for aligning technology roadmap with market trends and customer needs. **Responsibilities:** - Manage and lead a team of regional/global signal integrity engineers to establish design performance requirements for new products - Perform signal integrity simulations for multiple high-speed standards on each product - Guide the team in connector design and qualifications from a signal integrity standpoint - Create actionable recommendations based on design reviews and simulation results - Communicate actions and impacts clearly to stakeholders - Align technology roadmap with market trends and customer needs - Drive a culture of innovation within the team - Lead a regional/global team of SI engineers with varying levels of experience - Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to increase individual/team capability - Manage employee wellbeing by prioritizing work and providing flexibility for work-life balance **Skills/Experience:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; Master's Degree preferred - 10 years of relevant work experience in electrical Design, RF design or PCB design - Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership and people management experience - Solid understanding of electromagnetic theory and electrical circuit behavior - Expertise with Signal integrity analysis tools and 3D CAD tools - Proficiency with high-speed test equipment and interconnect design - Experience with printed circuit board layout and design - Data analysis techniques and simulation interpretation skills - Fluent in English - Ability to work in a global environment and collaborate across geographies - Expert problem-solving skills and ability to work independently - Proficient in presenting technical solutions to customers and upper management - Experience in leading and developing a team of experienced professionals - Proficiency in budget management, project delivery, and resource allocation - Strong collaboration and influencing skills for cross-functional projects - Data analytics mindset for driving innovative solutions - Ability to lead change in a dynamic environment and drive continuous improvement This job at TE Connectivity requires a strong background in electrical engineering, signal integrity analysis, team leadership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.,
