Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Plan and execute
prototype builds (Alpha / Beta / Pilot)
as per project timelines.

Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, Purchase, and Suppliers for timely availability of parts.

Ensure build quality, configuration control, and issue tracking.

Define and execute
DVP&R
for system and vehicle-level validation.

Lead
performance, durability, reliability, and field validation
of tractors.

Analyze test results, identify failures, and drive corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).

Support NVH, endurance, and application-specific testing.

Manage
tractor homologation activities
as per
AIS / CMVR / BS emission norms
.

Liaison with
certification agencies (ARAI / ICAT / VRDE, etc.)
.

Ensure documentation, compliance testing, and approval timelines.

Support emission, safety, lighting, braking, and ROPS/FOPS compliance.

Work closely with
R&D Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Supplier Development, and After-Sales
teams.

Support SOP readiness and post-launch field issue resolution.

Interface with vendors and test agencies for validation and certification

Lead and mentor build, validation, and homologation teams.

Plan resources, budgets, and testing infrastructure utilization.

Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in
full lifecycle validation and homologation of tractor platforms
.

Exposure to
export market homologation
is an added advantage.

Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in managing
multiple projects simultaneously
.
