Key Skills:

• Knowledge about machining process like milling, boring, turning and CPC calculations.
• Knowledge about Casting, Forging part development and laboratory work.
• Knowledge about inspection sheet, actual part inspection, Gauges handling and measurement equipment handling.
• Hands on experience on API 618 standard for compressor part.
• Process knowledge about compressor parts like Crankcase, Distance Piece, Cylinders, Piston Rod, crankshafts, Housings, Packing seals, Sealing elements, etc.
• Certification of NDT testing like UT, RT, MPT, DPT, etc.
• Basic Knowledge of Foundry Working, Pattern Making, Casting development cycle.
• Knowledge about casting simulation, defect analogy and flow analysis.
• Expert in casting Defect Analysis, RCA & Continuous improvement.
• Sound knowledge process like heat treatment, Hardening, Coating, Nitriding, Shot blasting.
• Knowledge about Isometric drawing (Casting & Machining) is must, Knowledge about ITP plan, GD&T is desirable

Desirable Skills

• Almost accent-free British English in spoken and written form

Job Purpose

Adding value in Part development cycle and support speedy onboarding of casting and forging suppliers in Pan India. Should work as team member for compressor part development and successful assembly and testing at parent company NEA-India.

Roles & responsibilities

Responsible for casting & machining part development at vendor end. Supporting on-going development plan. Supplier evaluation, audits, Part inspection, Deviations handling, Resolution & RCA. Leading & improving internal QA & QC initiatives. Recurring Audits as per NEA standard. Implementation quality control system and recurring audits at supplier end.
