Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Perform site suitability and load assessment for wind farm projects in diverse terrains and wind conditions.
Develop and validate Design Load Cases (DLCs) as per IEC 61400-3 standards.
Execute DLL (Design Load Level) modeling and ensure structural integrity under extreme and fatigue load conditions.
Utilize advanced simulation tools such as Bladed, Flex5, and WAsP for aeroelastic modeling and wind resource analysis.
Lead controller development and tuning for optimized turbine performance and load mitigation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on turbine design optimization, including rotor-nacelle assembly and tower load distribution.
Conduct Annual Energy Yield (AEY) analysis and integrate findings into load design strategies.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement in load modeling methodologies and simulation accuracy.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in aeroelastic modeling, structural dynamics, and fatigue analysis.
Proficiency in Bladed, Flex5, WAsP, and other wind turbine simulation tools.
Deep understanding of IEC 61400 series, especially IEC 61400-3 for offshore and onshore load cases.
Experience in DLL modeling, Design Load Cases, and controller development.
Knowledge of turbine certification processes, power curve validation, and site-specific load adaptation.
Familiarity with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and aeroelastic coupling for advanced load analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
