Role Overview

M&A, investment, and strategic advisory projects

Key Responsibilities

Deal Advisory (M&A and Cross-Border Transactions)

  • Conduct end-to-end deal execution including due diligence, valuation, structuring, and transaction documentation.
  • Advise on inbound/outbound investments, FDI/FEMA compliance, and corporate restructuring.
  • Coordinate with legal, tax, and accounting teams to deliver integrated transaction solutions.
  • Prepare information memoranda, term sheets, financial models, and board presentations.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies (RBI, MCA, ROC, etc.) for deal approvals and filings.

Business Development & Sales Strategy

  • Identify and engage new corporate clients (Korean and Indian conglomerates, PE/VC funds, etc.).
  • Develop partnership strategies and cross-border client pipelines through relationship management.
  • Support preparation of proposals, pitch decks, and service presentations aligned with Buddtrees integrated advisory model.
  • Lead market research and opportunity mapping for KoreaIndia transactions and expansion mandates.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership on growth strategy, service packaging, and key account management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in

    Finance, Law, Accounting, or Business

    (Masters preferred).
  • 510 years’ experience in

    M&A advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, or Big-4 transaction services.

  • Strong understanding of

    cross-border structuring, valuation, and regulatory frameworks

    (India & Korea preferred).
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Korean is an advantage.
