Manager - SAP ABAP Consultant

Key Purpose of the Job:

SAP ABAP technical design, implement, deploy and support SAP General SD/MM/FI area and HCM technically. This responsibility includes interacting with clients at all levels to understand the business requirements to conclude the configuration, develop/Code, migration, support and continuous enhancements of the various functions of SAP ABAP.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identifies, assesses, and solves complex technical problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

2. Closely follows the strategic direction set by technical manager / function leads when establishing near term goals

3. Interacts with functional consultant at within Redington on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.

4. Manage interactions and delivery with internal teams and third parties contributing to the overall solution, i.e. MM, WM, SD, HCM, FICO etc.,

5. Demonstrate Advisory skills on usage of Standard SAP for Process alignment and reporting.

Educational Qualification / Experience Desired:

1. Any Programming related or Engineering Degree - should form the foundation of an ABAP Technical consultant in the S4/HANA SAP environment. Basic knowledge of HCM processes will be a added advantage, India Payroll are a key requirement.

2. Experience in S4/HANA, ABAP FICO/SD/MM/HCM

3. SAP ABAP certification is preferred, but not required should the candidate have sufficient experience

4. Deep understanding and skills in Technical Design, Object oriented programming, Schema creation, Debugging principles.
