Role & responsibilities

Manager Sales (Coil Coating Exports)

Location: India (with international travel across CIS, South East Asia, Africa, and the Middle East) Role Summary

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales & Market Development

    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for coil coating exports.
    • Expand presence in CIS, South East Asia, Africa, and Middle East markets.
    • Build and nurture relationships with international clients, agents, and distributors.
  • Market Share Improvement

    • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning.
    • Implement initiatives to increase brand visibility and product penetration.
  • New Customer Acquisition

    • Prospect and onboard new customers in untapped regions.
    • Customize product offerings based on local environmental and regulatory conditions.
  • Product Recommendation & Technical Support

    • Understand coil coating technologies and recommend appropriate products for varying climates and applications.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure product suitability and performance.
  • Export-Import Operations

    • Manage documentation, compliance, and logistics for international shipments.
    • Stay updated on trade regulations, tariffs, and customs procedures in target regions.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination

    • Work closely with production, R&D, and technical service teams to align product capabilities with market needs.
    • Provide customer feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, International Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7–10 years of experience in B2B export sales, preferably in coil coatings or industrial paints.
  • Strong knowledge of coil coating processes and environmental performance factors.
  • Familiarity with export-import procedures and documentation across CIS, SEA, Africa, and Middle East.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and adapt to diverse business cultures
