Establish and maintain QMS in line with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001.
Lead APQP / PPAP documentation for new product development.
Conduct internal process audits, coordinate external and certification audits, and close NCs.
Lead APQP / PPAP documentation for new product development.
Develop supplier quality systems – incoming inspection, supplier audits, performance monitoring.
Monitor quality at all stages: incoming, in-process, and final inspection.
Define and implement process control plans, work instructions, and quality checkpoints.
Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and test equipment.
Lead problem-solving activities (8D, root cause analysis, FMEA).
Prepare inspection reports, rejection analysis, CAPA reports.
Ensure visual standards, boundary samples, OK/NOT OK criteria are available and followed on the shop floor.
Conduct line clearance & quality checks during line changeovers.
Act as the primary interface for customer quality concerns.
Handle customer complaints, warranty issues, and corrective actions.
Drive initiatives like Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen for waste reduction and process improvement.
Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance/Quality Control team.
Develop training programs for workforce on quality standards and awareness.
