Manager - QA

Role & responsibilities

1. Quality control/inspection at all levels including at source.

2. Product non-conformity control

3. Quality improvement/ defect reduction by analysis of data and effective corrective actions.

4. Communicate with Vendors on defects and ensure elimination reduction of same at their end.

5. Drive QMS implementation, improvements and sustenance across the organization.

6. New product development by being active member of the NPD team.

Drive technical training and development of operators and staff in coordination with HR.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 60% is in Transformer manufacturing.

1. He/She should have been in a similar role in a transformer company of 100 to 150 crore annual turnover

2. His core competence should be in QA

3. Must have directly headed teams of different functions like Incoming QC / In-process

4. Must have handled white collar teams of 5 plus and blue collar of 10 plus

5. Well versed with ISO systems

6. Well versed with technical nuances of design and manufacture of transformers.
