Job Description

Project Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Management

    : Handling project sales for the construction industry, specifically in the area of TMT (Thermo-Mechanically Treated) bars, cement, paint, and other building materials.
  • Market Coverage

    : The role covers the entire state of Kerala, requiring frequent travel to meet clients, contractors, and project teams.
  • Contractor Engagement

    : Building relationships with contractors, engineers, and architects to secure project sales, ensure product specifications are met, and maintain strong professional ties.
  • Invoicing & Payment Follow-ups

    : Ensuring timely invoicing for completed sales and actively following up on payments to ensure cash flow is managed effectively.
  • Project Follow-ups

    : Keeping track of ongoing projects and ensuring that all aspects of the sales process, from order placement to delivery and payment, are carried out smoothly.

Key Requirements/Preferences:

  • Experience in TMT/Cement Sales

    : Preference is given to candidates with prior experience in selling TMT (Thermo-Mechanically Treated) bars/Cement, which are essential for construction projects.
  • Sales in Construction Materials

    : Experience in selling construction materials like cement, paint, TMT bars/Cement, and other related products is highly valued.
  • Project Sales Expertise

    : This role requires someone who has a strong background in project sales, where the focus is on securing large contracts, following up on the execution, and ensuring timely invoicing and payment.
  • Location Flexibility

    : The role involves a significant amount of travel throughout Kerala, so flexibility and willingness to travel are crucial.

Skills/Experience Sought:

  • Proven track record in project sales and managing large-scale orders in the construction sector.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with contractors, builders, and other industry professionals.
  • Good understanding of the construction materials market, particularly TMT bars/Cement or Building Material or PEB structure
  • Knowledge of sales management processes, from lead generation to closing deals and post-sale follow-ups.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines and delivery expectations.
