Description
As the Manager Project Assessment at Sterlite Power Transmission Limited, your primary responsibility will involve conducting technical assessments to determine the feasibility of constructing transmission line projects under TBCB and B2B schemes. This will include evaluating route selection and the feasibility of proposed transmission lines. Additionally, you will collaborate with the CAPEX team to provide detailed cost estimates for all project phases, from design and procurement to construction and commissioning. You will also assist the Project Director in developing and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely completion. A crucial aspect of your role will be risk management, where you will identify and assess potential risks associated with the projects. Your responsibilities will include developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success. This will involve gathering ground intelligence on other utilities operating near the proposed project sites, analyzing foundation classifications, assessing ROW scenarios, anticipating NGO interventions, and addressing any other risks that may impact project timelines. The position demands flexibility and willingness to travel to remote locations as required for project assessments and management.
