Manager - Production & Operations Planning

We are seeking a skilled manager to join our Supply Chain Analytics team, where you will be tasked with designing top-notch solutions in Production Planning, Operations & Footprint Design, and overseeing the Global solution team. Your responsibilities will include developing use cases, collaborating with the business, creating blueprints, and leading pilot and roll-out initiatives to ensure successful business outcomes. Your role will demand advanced expertise in supply chain design/production domains and the ability to implement superior solutions. Proficiency in domain knowledge precedes technical proficiency, and you will drive the implementation of these solutions effectively. Key responsibilities include managing global implementation in PP/DS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling) & MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) and overseeing a team of 5-6 for Global roll-outs. You will serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) alongside the CoE lead for all Global Implementations in Production Planning, Detailed Scheduling & MRP, and collaborate in targeted engagements within the Supply Chain Design area. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct As Is and To Be process studies, and recommend optimal solutions. As the primary support for the business, you must possess in-depth system knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Understanding the organization's strategy, articulating KPIs clearly, and aligning solutions accordingly are key aspects of this role. Your quick grasp of technical requirements will guide the design team effectively, and you will be adept at validating results and establishing monitoring mechanisms. Conducting workshops, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase solutions to teammates and stakeholders, managing multiple stakeholders proficiently, and employing strong Project Management approaches are also vital responsibilities. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, a solid understanding of Production and Operations Planning (RCCP, MPS, Scheduling, MRP, etc.) in discrete manufacturing environments. Experience with IBP implementation (SAP/Kinaxis/Anaplan) in PP/DS, Supply Planning, MRP, optimization, scheduling, and simulation concepts is highly desirable. Proficiency in databases & visualization tools, such as Power Bi, is preferred. An engineering background with a master's degree in business administration, exceptional communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to engage with Global stakeholders are essential qualifications.,
