Manager - Production & Operations Planning

As a Manager - Production & Operations Planning at Kohler, you will be responsible for designing best-in-class solutions in Production Planning, Operations & Footprint Design and managing the Global solution team. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing the global implementation in PP/DS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling) & MRP (Materials Requirement Planning), leading a team of 5-6 for global rollouts. - Acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) along with CoE lead for all global implementations in Production Planning, Detailed Scheduling & MRP, collaborating in targeted engagements of Supply Chain Design area. - Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct As Is and To Be process study, and suggest best-in-class solutions. - Providing first-line support for business with a deep understanding of systems knowledge and troubleshooting complex problems. - Understanding the organization's strategy, articulating and following KPIs, and mapping solutions according to process. - Guiding the design team on technical requirements, validating results, and building monitoring mechanisms. - Conducting workshops, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase solutions to teammates and stakeholders. - Managing multiple stakeholders effectively and applying strong Project Management approaches. - Responsible for managing the medium-to-long-term capability roadmap. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning with good knowledge of Production and Operations Planning in discrete manufacturing. - Experience in IBP implementation (SAP/Kinaxis/Anaplan) in PP/DS, Supply Planning, MRP is preferred. - Excellent knowledge of Optimization, Scheduling, and Simulation concepts. - Sound understanding of databases & visualization tools (Power Bi preferred). - Engineering background with a master's degree in business administration. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate with global stakeholders.
