Manager - Product Management-(Paper Chemicals)

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for Overall P&L, Growth of Paper Chemical Business
• Planning of marketing strategy, targets, volumes along with product and sales team
• Develop new avenues for sales outlets for consistant volume growth in domestic market Develop export markets for Paper chemicals by aligning principals or in own private label brand for OEMs
• Managing and collaborating with entire sales team, tracking sales data against targets and Lab trials, plant trials, trouble-shooting lost sales to achieve volume targets
• Provide special price approvals to sales team in discussion with pricing team.,
• Customer visits and product trials along with sales team and principles wherever required or necessary
• Manage customer complaints and direct team for appropriate action
• Managing customer visits based on sales data, mapping business potential and NPD pipeline
• Timely tracking of new business development pipeline- starting from sample to order
• Continuous monitoring of competition products, prices and reporting to PLM Head for aggressive action
• New complimentary product identification, capability building and marketing campaigns
• New Market Identification, existing account expansion for process chemicals.,

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: Minimum 08-12 Years in Paper Chemicals market and Technical Support
• Proficiency in English and Hindi is must along with strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently, timely execution of responsibilities and problem solving attitude is a MUST
• Past experience in Paper industry for chemicals as and paper mills experience in south, west region will be given strong preference
• Past experience in PAN-India and Global Paper chemical Technical sales & service will be given strong preference
