Manager - PPC (Processing)

• Production Scheduling & Capacity Planning

  Develop, implement, and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts and processing capacity. Adjust workflows dynamically to accommodate shifts in customer orders, resource availability, or disruptions.

• Inventory & Materials Coordination

  Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure raw material availability and control work-in-progress (WIP) inventories. Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or shortages.

• Process Optimization & Bottleneck Resolution

  Analyze production data and identify bottlenecks in processing. Implement continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Kaizen) to enhance throughput, reduce waste, and lower costs.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

  Liaise closely with procurement, processing operations, quality assurance, and logistics to streamline end-to-end workflows, ensure compliance with safety/regulatory standards, and meet production targets.

• Technology & Systems Management

  Manage ERP/MRP systems and production planning software. Ensure data accuracy and system-driven control over schedules, materials, and reporting activities.

• Reporting & Performance Tracking

  Track KPIs such as throughput, inventory turnover, schedule adherence, and production costs. Prepare and present performance reports and recommendations to senior management.

• Team Leadership & Training

  Lead and develop a team of planners or schedulers. Mentor staff on best practices, tools, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Regulatory Compliance & Safety

Qualifications & Experience

• Education

  Bachelors degree in Textile, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline; advanced degree or professional certifications

• Experience

  5+ years of production or capacity planning experience within a processing or manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

• Technical Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools • Strong analytical skills; experience with Excel, data analysis, and KPI management • Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and process improvement techniques.
