Supply Planner - Urgent @ Navi Mumbai

1. Supply & Procurement Planning

• Develop and execute weekly/monthly material procurement plans based on forecast and production schedules.
• Ensure timely availability of packaging materials, raw materials, and ingredients for both in-house and 3P plants.
• Review material coverage, safety stocks, lead times, and slow-moving items to maintain healthy inventory.
• Lead the Buyer to ensure purchase orders, follow-ups, vendor coordination, and delivery commitments are on track.
• Support cost management through efficient ordering cycles and vendor negotiations (tactical level).
• Market trend analysis on all materials including packaging.
• Cost benefit analysis and margin improvements initiatives

2. Production Planning (Own Plant & 3P Plants)

• Prepare rolling production plans based on demand, capacity constraints, and material availability.
• Coordinate with internal manufacturing and contract manufacturing partners to align production schedules.
• Track plan adherence, batch execution, and highlight deviations with clear corrective actions.
• Ensure output consistency for SKU-level production aligned with demand priorities.

3. Inventory Management

• Maintain optimal stock levels of RM/PM at each plant (own + 3P).
• Monitor consumption, yield variances, and wastages and raise alerts for abnormal patterns.
• Own stock reporting: RM/PM inventory, finished goods visibility, and coverage metrics.
• Work closely with factory store teams to tighten inventory discipline and document accuracy.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work with Demand Planner/Sales to refine supply requirements.
• Coordinate with QA, Production, Logistics, and Finance for seamless supply chain execution.
• Align with Packaging/Innovation teams for new product material setups and trials.
• Participate in S&OP discussions and prepare supply-side inputs.

5. Systems, Reporting & Governance

• Maintain all planning trackers, MRP outputs, purchase schedules, and production MIS.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Head of Operations.
• Support improvement projects such as:
• material planning automation
• MRP discipline
• inventory accuracy enhancement
• procurement process streamlining
