Manager - Planning

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare a detailed Production plan (Monthly, Quarterly and yearly) to monitor and track progress as per customer requirement and company turnover target.
• Schedule and Lead meeting with CFT to achieve delivery against target against production plan.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of plan.
• Assist in the definition of Planning scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Measure OTD/Compliance performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• MIS Report preparation and update as per ISO requirement.
• Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize the risks against lose of turnover.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of ERP/MRP is must for robust planning for keeping optimum buffer stock, re-order level, lot size, batch size etc.
• Responsible for monitoring the performance of the various departments by establishing a system of reports and communications involving base Production plan, revised plan vis a viz actual.
• In depth product knowledge to understand and achieve the critical milestone of product manufacturing like (Procurement Lead time, Quality standard requirement, critical process of manufacturing etc.).
• In depth supply chain and ERP System knowledge to understand and streamline the process in ERP ensuring to achieve the Sales/Production Targets.
• Strong communication skills for building Strong Customer Relationships.
• Responsible for the planning, recruitment, direction, organization and control of sales accomplish specific objectives.

• Person for Hydraulic or Automotive Industry will have added preference.

• Person with language (English, Hindi and Tamil) proficiency will have added preference.

Preferred candidate profile

A Project Management and Planning professional having 8-12 years experience in a hydraulics or similar company responsible for leading projects related to hydraulic components or systems, ensuring that all activities align with client needs, industry standards, and organizational goals. The role involves overseeing project delivery from initial planning to final execution, engaging cross-functional teams, and maintaining a balance of quality, cost, and timelines.
