Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1.

  • Oversee daily operations of the PHC department, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and standards.
  • Supervise appointment scheduling, patient registration, billing, and reporting processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate collection of patient samples and coordination with diagnostic labs.
  • Manage resource allocation, including staff, medical supplies, and equipment, to ensure uninterrupted operations.

2.

  • Monitor and enhance patient flow to reduce wait times and improve service efficiency.
  • Address and resolve patient complaints or escalations effectively.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in the PHC unit.

3.

  • Lead and mentor a team of coordinators, technicians, and support staff.
  • Conduct regular training for staff on service excellence, patient handling, and operational protocols.
  • Prepare duty rosters and manage staffing to meet patient demands effectively.

4.

  • Collaborate with diagnostic departments (labs, radiology) to ensure timely completion of tests.
  • Work with marketing and community outreach teams to promote PHC packages.
  • Coordinate with the IT team to ensure seamless health check software and system functioning.

5.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as patient satisfaction, test turnaround time, and package completion rates.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure the quality and efficiency of services.

6.

  • Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports on patient volume, revenue, and operational performance.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide regular updates to hospital management on the PHC department's performance.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification- Graduation Mandatory

Experience- Minimum 7+ Years of relevant experience in Healthcare.
