As a Global Supply Chain Manager at Eaton Aerospace, your role involves managing the global supply chain relationship with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery performance aligns with Eaton Aerospace standards. You will be responsible for initiating supplier supply chain diagnostics, managing supplier improvement plans, and supporting the Supply Chain Buyer on defining supply chain terms & conditions. Your significant domestic travel (up to 75%) will be essential for building and maintaining strategic relationships with key suppliers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Serving as the primary point of contact for escalated issues related to suppliers and materials, ensuring timely resolution - Investigating root causes of escalations, implementing corrective actions using CI tools, and collaborating with suppliers to prevent future occurrences - Tracking and reporting on supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement - Identifying process improvement opportunities and developing solutions for Aerospace FMC & FED businesses - Maintaining regular communication with internal supply planning teams and external stakeholders - Delegating tasks effectively within supply planning teams to achieve quick resolutions - Managing OTD scorecards and reporting monthly progress to SLT with action plans - Mitigating sales risks through close monitoring of material movements for high-value/critical LRUs - Providing updates to key end customers during critical material escalations with high sales impact Qualifications required for this role: - Engineering Graduate/Post Graduate - BE Mechanical, Production, Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or a Business Degree in Supply Chain Management - Minimum 14 to 15 years of experience in supplier development, supplier performance management, supply chain, manufacturing, or core industries, preferably Aerospace - Minimum 8-10 years of experience in people management In addition to the qualifications, you should possess the following skills: - Aerospace Procurement & Supply Chain Knowledge - Deep understanding of AS9100/AS9120 quality standards, aerospace compliance, and certification requirements - Familiarity with FAA, EASA, and ITAR regulations and export control compliance - Knowledge of aerospace raw materials and long-lead items - Supplier & Contract Management expertise - Operations & Fulfillment Planning skills - Cost & Value Engineering proficiency - Digital & Analytical Skills - Logistics & Trade Compliance knowledge - Continuous Improvement & Lean Six Sigma experience - Technical & Cross-Functional Collaboration abilities - Strong organization, time management, problem-solving, and out-of-the-box thinking skills Your role as a Global Supply Chain Manager at Eaton Aerospace will require you to leverage your skills and experience to drive supplier performance, ensure timely delivery, and contribute to the success of the Aerospace FMC & FED divisions.
