Description
As a Planning and Procurement Specialist in aerospace supply chain management based in Bangalore, your role involves collaborating closely with various teams to effectively address customer demand and maintain optimal inventory levels. Your key responsibilities include: - Collaborating with the Network Scheduler/Planner to develop both short-term and long-term master production plans. - Executing the monthly SIOP Step 3 process in coordination with the network scheduler. - Verifying material status with the COE Procurement team and carrying out the Master Production Schedule (MPS). - Releasing production work orders in a timely manner and ensuring their prompt closure. - Coordinating with the quality team for final inspection, DPRV, and FAIR-IN processes to ensure on-time shipment to customers. - Maintaining regular communication with the Customer Service (CS) team regarding open order status and actively collaborating with them. - Ensuring customer On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets are consistently met. - Reviewing product planning parameters and implementing necessary adjustments to meet customer demand. - Ensuring all product structures are accurately maintained in the ERP system. - Supporting transition projects and verifying proper planning parameters in the system. - Reviewing excess and obsolete inventory and taking timely corrective actions. - Tracking daily production shortages and taking both proactive and reactive measures to address material requirements. - Monitoring and tracking OTD, quality, and schedule adherence monthly. - Overseeing work order release and closure, taking appropriate action as required. - Ensuring all procedures and work instructions are current and compliant. - Tracking Supply Chain Management (SCM) goals and initiating necessary actions to achieve targets. - Monitoring ERP health and ensuring all indicators remain optimal. Qualifications: - Bachelor's in Engineering - Around 6-8 years of experience in Planning & procurement in an Engineering Company preferably in Aerospace, Automobile industry Skills: - Knowledge in production planning process - Knowledge in MPS process, Planning parameters, Forecast technique, Scheduling, Capacity & Inventory - Knowledge and working experience in Kinaxis, SAP, MFGPro/Oracle ERP system - Excellent knowledge in MS Excel tools - Knowledge in Power Bi, Power Point - Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal) - Excellent interpersonal skills - Knowledge in 5S & 7QC tools - Digital mindset Please note that the candidate should be Indian by nationality.
