Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the
overall hospital operations during assigned shifts
(day, evening, or night).
Act as the
single point of contact
for all administrative and operational issues during non-office hours.
Ensure smooth coordination between departments medical, nursing, housekeeping, security, billing, and front office.
Address and resolve
patient or attendant grievances
promptly and professionally.
Monitor patient admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure process compliance and patient comfort.
Handle
emergency situations
and escalate critical incidents to the concerned authority (Medical Superintendent / Unit Head).
Conduct regular
rounds of OPD, IPD, ICU, and support service areas
to ensure service standards and hospital hygiene.
Supervise manpower deployment and ensure adequate staffing during the shift.
Coordinate with doctors, nursing supervisors, and support teams for smooth patient care delivery.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
Prepare and submit a
shift handover and daily incident report
to the Operations Head / Unit Head.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualification:
Graduate / Postgraduate in Hospital Administration (BHA / MHA / MBA Healthcare Management).
Experience:
48 years in hospital operations or administration, with at least 2 years as MOD / Duty Manager / Administrative Officer.
Strong knowledge of hospital operations, patient handling, and service quality standards.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Willingness to work in
rotational shifts (24x7 environment).
