Manager, Network Engineering

We are looking for a skilled Manager to join our Network Engineering Global Support team, which handles a diverse suite of network technologies including Firewalls, routers, switches, CDNs, IP routing, and load balancers. You will interact with colleagues across various infrastructure verticals and project stakeholders across the business. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing and overseeing the day-to-day activities of your regional team, ensuring that team members can perform at their best. Your responsibilities will include managing the team's daily activities, building and maintaining procedures for product rollouts, overseeing projects to enhance operational efficiency, and ensuring adherence to standards and compliance requirements. You will also be responsible for detecting, identifying, and resolving incidents, as well as liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders to address issues. Additionally, you will monitor team quality, maintain performance reporting, and lead or participate in cross-departmental projects. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 7 years of relevant work experience in Firewall administration, IP routing, and/or load balancing, along with a general understanding of OSI layers and technologies. You should also possess 2+ years of direct management experience, strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and Visio), and excellent organizational and communication skills. Project management experience and a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience are desired. This role offers work-from-home flexibility of one day per week.
