Manager - Merger & Acquisition

Role & responsibilities:

Strategic Opportunity Identification:

• Identify and assess potential M&A opportunities aligned with corporate growth objectives
• Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market dynamics to inform decision making

Financial and Strategic Analysis:

• Build detailed financial models, including valuation analyses
• Evaluate the strategic fit, risks, and potential synergies of target companies
• Provide recommendations to senior management based on data-driven insights

Due Diligence:

• Lead and coordinate due diligence activities, including financial, operational, legal, tax, and regulatory aspects
• Engage with internal teams and external advisors to validate assumptions and uncover potential risks

Deal Structuring and Execution:

• Assist in negotiating deal terms, including purchase price, earnouts, and other financial structures
• Collaborate with legal, tax, and financial advisors to finalize agreements and close transactions
• Manage end-to-end transaction timelines and workflows

Post-Merger Integration:

• Develop integration plans and oversee the execution of operational and financial synergies
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and a smooth transition post acquisition
• Track and report on the performance of acquisitions relative to strategic objectives

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare detailed investment memorandums and presentations for executive leadership
• Maintain comprehensive records of deal processes and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Any Finance Degree/Post Graduation in finance or MBA with 60% of marks
• Experience: 3 10 Years
• Application will be accepted with eligibility criteria of securing 60% marks throughout education 10th / 12th / Diploma / UG / PG All Semesters till date.
• Relevant experience - Investment Banking / Valuation / M&A / Corporate Development / Private Equity or a related field.

Ability to identify, evaluate, and align M&A opportunities with the organizations growth strategy

Strong investment banking, valuation, financial modelling and analytical skills

Proficiency in market research and financial analysis to assess target companies / sector landscape

Expertise in use of market & financial databases (Fact set, Capital IQ, Bloomberg etc.)
