Job Description

Key purpose of the Job

The Manager - Manufacturing is responsible to provide technical expertise to set up and run apparel
manufacturing for the assigned customer. This will include overseeing end to end apparel manufacturing activities including product development, bulk manufacturing and packaging. The role holder is responsible to plan and implement innovative and best practises in order to bring process improvements, increase in efficiency, optimization and cost saving initiatives for the assigned customer. Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for effectively strategizing and deploying assigned customer manufacturing objectives in alignment to business objectives

Oversee achievement of Manufacturing objectives for the customer from product development to bulk delivery

Responsible for ensuring process improvement and troubleshooting for the assigned customer

Responsible for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of business objectives

Education

Bachelor s degree or Diploma in Textile or Clothing technology or Materials management or any other relevant stream

Experience

8 to 10+ years of experience and should possess a minimum experience of 3 years in heading production for a large Plant
