Job Description

Team Lead Direct Taxation as Manager / Sr manager
Preparation of Tax Computation workings, maintaining records required for returns and filing Tax returns of appx 21 legal entities of MTL Group
Handle Tax Assessments like preparation of workings, drafting responses to IT notices and providing compiled response to sought notices
Handling tax audit of appx 21 legal entities like data compiling Form 3CD, providing clarifications to tax auditors. Co-ordination for filing of Form 3CD with concerned accounts team.
Adhering to TDS Compliance monthly/ quarterly/half yearly/yearly as required
Handling Transfer Pricing subject to appx 5 legal entities as applicable both domestic and International
GST TDS reconciliation with Indirect Tax Team & Reconciliation of 26AS with GL
Fair understanding of Accounts as per Companies Act, ICAI and knowledge of Indirect taxation as well will help to deal with Direct taxation
