Job Summary This resource is critical to support the increasing business needs to make the material engineering quality data available and accessible to customers for using in new application development cycle and thus enabling market creation for specialty materials to drive GROWTH. The SABIC internal project Euclid has set-up a state-of-the-art integrated database for all types of material engineering data. Perform independently the UL testing and generate quality material data. This role needs to test specialty thermoplastic materials and flag the inaccuracies to the respective Project Leaders for corrective action. Collaborate with the project leader, who is managing the specialty material data program in GApT and deliver excellent support in material testing, clean-up, coordination with adjacent analytical technology teams, data analysis, documentation and other data related activities in STC-B to enable the launch of External customer version of Euclid for specialty business. How You Can Be the Impact On-time delivery of data program activities such as UL testing, analysis, and report out Collaboration with Project Leader and deliver excellent support in enhancing the capability in UL testing. Co-ordination with analytical technology and application technology teams. The primary expectations from this role is to perform end to end support for polymer characterization and material engineering data management as per UL protocol. This includes sample preparation mainly using injection molding, performing of mechanical tests as per UL/ASTM standards, and supporting the management of material engineering data. On time delivery of data program activities such as injection molding of specimens. testing of specimens, data analysis, report out of data in specified templates and system. Collaboration with project leader and deliver excellent support in enhancing the lab capability in testing. Support maintenance of KPI dashboards/ reports and communicate with cross functional stakeholders. Preferred candidate profile BE/ME TECH in material science, polymer processing/Technolgy Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in polymer processing Any additional experience in polymer testing is plus.
