Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Equipment & Plant Maintenance
Oversee installation, repair, and upkeep of machinery, utilities, and infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools.

Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements (ISO, OSHA, etc.).
Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
Implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and hazards.

Budget & Cost Control
Prepare and manage maintenance budgets.
Optimise costs by reducing breakdowns and extending equipment life.
Negotiate with vendors and contractors for maintenance services.

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Track KPIs such as downtime, MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
Present reports to senior management on maintenance performance.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems
Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
