Manager LG Mortgage Asset Specialist, MSF

Role Overview: As an Asset Specialist in the International Wealth & Premier Banking - Sales, Distribution and Business Development team at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in handling asset product applications sourced by Relationship Managers (RMs) to ensure seamless processing within the system. Your primary responsibility will be to support the fulfillment of asset product applications and provide back-end assistance to Branch RMs, while interacting with various stakeholders both within and outside of HSBC. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate asset product disbursals of the MSF Channel and provide back-end support to Branch RMs in the end-to-end process of sourcing to disbursal of asset product applications. - Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders such as CRU, CCR, INM, legal, etc, to ensure smooth processing of applications. - Monitor the status of logged applications regularly to track progress. - Provide developmental and coaching interventions for the Channel Partner, identify cross-sell opportunities for other product lines, and collaborate with stakeholders for effective coordination. - Ensure operational effectiveness and control by managing discrepancy rates in applications, implementing fraud control measures, and complying with applicable laws, regulations, and HSBC policies related to Sanctions and AML. - Remain vigilant for unusual activities and promptly report any suspicious behavior to the relevant authorities. - Support the FCC AML Office/ AML Investigations by providing necessary information and attending required AML and Sanctions related training. - Understand and adhere to PEP acceptance, CDD & EDD guidelines, and identify high-risk indicators for various products and services offered by INM RBWM. - Undertake necessary due diligence to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and communicate effectively with customers regarding products and services. Qualification Required: - Graduate/Post Graduate (Masters)/ MBA with two to five years of work experience.
