Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Hybrid)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize our hybrid cloud environment. This role requires a strong understanding of both on-premises and cloud technologies, as well as a keen eye for automation and efficiency.Key Responsibilities: * Hybrid Cloud Management: * Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure, combining on-premises data centers with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. * Ensure seamless integration and data synchronization between on-premises and cloud environments. * Optimize resource utilization and performance across both environments. * Infrastructure Automation: * Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet. * Develop and maintain scripts to streamline routine tasks and reduce manual effort. * Security and Compliance: * Implement robust security measures to protect both on-premises and cloud resources. * Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and best practices. * Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. * Monitoring and Troubleshooting: * Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues. * Implement effective monitoring tools to track key metrics and generate alerts. * Troubleshoot complex technical problems across hybrid environments. * Collaboration: * Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment. * Work closely with network engineers to optimize network connectivity between on-premises and cloud resources.Required Skills and Experience: * Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). * Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell). * Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). * Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). * Understanding of networking, security, and system administration. * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
