Job Description

As the Manager, Compensation Operations at Salesforce, you will collaboratively work with business owners to address operational challenges, implement policies, streamline processes, and offer suggestions to enhance and expand the support provided by the Global Incentive Compensation team. Your role will involve strategizing for the effective management of resources within Salesforce Compensation, with a focus on both short and long-term objectives. You will oversee day-to-day operational tasks related to incentive compensation operations, ensuring the fulfillment of SLAs and KPIs while supporting the attainment of business goals. Your experience in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and innovative solution implementation will be crucial in this role, along with your proficiency in project lifecycle management. You will be expected to work autonomously, taking ownership of project implementation and outcomes, and demonstrate effectiveness in a collaborative team setting. Your responsibilities in this role will include: - Understanding and improving business processes to enhance the processing of sales inquiries effectively. - Monitoring Sales Compensation Analysts" adherence to policies and procedures, conducting quality audits, and ensuring SOX compliance. - Assisting Sales Compensation Analysts in handling escalations, resolving disputes, and addressing compensation policy inquiries. - Ensuring timely and accurate processing of day-to-day operations. You will be instrumental in driving change within the organization by: - Seeking feedback from the sales team to enhance service levels and customer satisfaction while scaling operations. - Identifying areas for improvement, enhancing efficiency, and implementing solutions to boost customer satisfaction. - Collaborating with global business partners on data and operations projects. - Working with cross-functional teams to identify enhancement opportunities, define requirements, and develop solutions. - Engaging with leadership to pinpoint inefficiencies and propose solutions to rectify unproductive practices. Moreover, as a team leader, you will: - Manage recruitment and training activities to maintain appropriate staffing levels in India, aligning with global counterparts. - Establish an efficient operations team in alignment with business growth. - Cultivate an inclusive workplace culture that upholds company values, fosters employee engagement, and supports professional development. To excel in this role, you should possess: - 6+ years of relevant experience. - A capacity to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in navigating a large-scale, matrix global organization. - Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent oral and written communication abilities with keen attention to detail. - A talent for presenting complex issues in a clear and compelling manner. - Self-driven with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. - Effective leadership skills and the ability to motivate others.,
