This role plays a critical part in creating and maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Here's an overview of the responsibilities and qualifications associated with the role of a Manager of HSEF:

Role Overview:

HSEF Strategy: Develop, implement, and communicate the organization's health, safety, environmental, and sustainability strategies and policies
Compliance: Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and sustainability regulations, standards, and laws
Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and environmental impacts within the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate them
Incident Management: Manage and investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss events
Develop action plans to prevent recurrence
Safety Training: Develop and implement safety training programs for employees to promote safe practices and behaviors
Environmental Management: Oversee environmental programs, including waste management, emissions reduction, and sustainability initiatives such as energy conservation and carbon footprint reduction
Health and Wellness: Promote employee health and wellness programs, including ergonomic assessments and mental health support
Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response and evacuation plans to ensure employee safety during emergencies
