Manager - GPM & CNC Machine Tools Shop Maintenance

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Hands on working experience in a precision components manufacturing products machine Tools Shop, their associate equipment, preventive & predictive maintenance techniques , familiarity with common maintenance management software, ability to formulate, lead & motivate maintenance technicians, planning skills, budget management and resource allocation, very good understanding of IATF TS16949 requirements, implementing & maintaining QMS & its tools, if already an internal auditor of TS 16949 standard that is an added advantage, develop and implement maintenance plans/schedules for optimum machine performance and least downtimes, supervise and coordinate, troubleshoot machinery issues, direct repairs, conduct audits on accuracy of machines to address potential quality issues of components, Lead & mentor a team of quick response technicians, guide & evaluate their performance by motivation, maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, costs increased and quality data, design & prepare reports to track & present performance data in compliance with IATF TS 16949 requirements, track expenses vis-a-vis Budget and identify cost reduction programs, promote a culture of safety first with the team & the shop and correlate Goals to link with the Divisions Goals & Metrics to align with overall corporate metrics. Preferred candidate profile Formulate Plan & Lead the Maintenance team. Keep Machines and Equipment Working with least down time. Plan Preventive Maintenance. Troubleshoot & Solve Problems. Document maintenance schedules, repairs, inspections, and equipment history and Safety Compliances. Manage Inventory of Spare Parts & Tools for emergency brake downs Support Process Improvements and Control Maintenance & running costs. TS 16949 Implementation and Audits.
